Heather's Story: Stronger Every Time

I’m 47 years old and I have survived being molested at the age of four and physically abused my entire childhood. During my teenage years I ran away, learned some hard lessons on the streets, had three children, experienced a rape in my 30s in my own apartment, I’ve battled with addiction and lost many people close to me. Yet, I always get back up, seems like I'm stronger every time. I’ve learned a lot, grown a lot, and I live the best life that I can. I have a good job, I try to make good choices and I just take it one day at a time. Being a part of the Beautiful Disaster Tribe is probably the most connected I felt anything as far as all of my struggles and hardships. It’s like Beautiful Disaster gets me and everything I’ve been through and yet still encourages me to be strong which is more encouraging than a lot of things in my life. It makes me smile every time I see a new collection, a new meaning in the clothing and I usually can’t wait to buy the next new thing that comes out. Thanks for all that you’ve done for me… if I had to pick a favorite clothing it would probably be “WHAT DOESNT KILL YOUR MAKES YOU STRONGER”!!!
